February 16, 2018

On Sunday 28nd October at the Karibu Centre in Brixton, Ananse Arts in collaboration with the Verna Mae Foundation will be hosting The 1st Annual Kings Conference, an evening of serious discussion, debate, action and networking.

The conference was created in order to address the issues most affecting the Black community at the present time, whilst looking into ways in which every person can be involved in changing things for the better, as well as finding out ways to support the people, community organizations and current projects and initiatives running.

This conference gives Black men the chance to speak to the community on the issues most affecting our communities.
We are used to seeing the women speak up, but now we have dedicated this night to not only giving men the platform to speak and to be seen and heard, but this conference is created to support them in order to do more within the community.
