THE MEN, THE MONEY, THE MAYOR, AND THE CHASE

The Men, The Mayor, the Money and The Chase, is a short film that tells the story of a young called entrepreneur Damayne Newman, and his group of friends get caught up in a high-stakes game of revenge and retribution; when their best friend Roman is hospitalised for attempting to get back £150,000 worth of extortion money.

With Roman fighting for his life, his distraught girlfriend calls on the help of her parent, The flamboyant and deadly Mayor; who is the local loan shark and head of the local protection group. With the threat of a new gang encroaching on The Mayor’s turf, whilst extorting The Mayor’s family, an unlikely alliance is made in order to get back the money, find out who is behind the extortion and get revenge for the beating of Roman.
